Time to Party

This has been once crazy semester for sure. We have had lots of good times and a few bad times as well. However, overall I would have to say it has been pretty great. 

• In May, Marc and I decided we wanted to get out of the typical day to day and wanted to go on a hike. The place Marc picked out ended up being a wasteland. There were supposed to be a few ponds and lots of wildlife but when we got there, there was a bunch of nothing. I ended up getting chased by a bee and Marc got super scared by some birds in an overhanging tree. Quite the experience I must say...

• In June my brother Devon got called to serve a mission in the Naga, Philippines Mission. He is now in the MTC and doing great. He recently tore his meniscus and had to go into surgery to repair it. He is recovering and should be able to go out into the field here in a few short weeks. 
• July came around and I was able to go home for my little sister's baptism. We are so proud of her and her decision she has made. It was a really short trip but I was so grateful that I had the time and funds available to go and be there for her special day. I also got a new job on campus to where I won't be working at a Call Center anymore!!! So thrilled about that. Marc wants me to add that we also went and saw Despicable Me 2. He states, "it was amazing." So if you haven't seen it, go see it!

Those have been the highlights of this semester and we have been so blessed. Marc only has one semester left after this and then his schooling days are over. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this throughout the Summer but I make no promises. I hope everyone else is doing great!
